Who is the refresher training course for employers aimed at?
To all commercial, artisanal and service companies of an intellectual nature where there are employees or partner employers, regardless of the risk level of the company.

What does the employer training refresher course consist of?
The contents will be structured on the basis of the specific sector and may vary according to changes in legislation and technological developments relevant to that sector. Refresher training must be completed every five years and follows the general and specific training courses that are mandatory for each employer.
What can I do once I have completed the employers' training update?
It allows the validity of the initial training certificate to be maintained. The certificate can be requested during inspections by ASL technicians or labour inspectors.

The State-Regions Agreement of 21 \12 \11 states that, in order to maintain the validity of the certificate obtained at the end of specific employer training, every 5 years the employers must take a refresher course of at least 6 hours.
There are cases in which the employer must carry out the employer update before the 5-year period has expired. This important exception is set out in Article 37(6) of Legislative Decree 81/08: "the training of employers and their representatives must be periodically repeated in relation to the evolution of risks or the emergence of new risks."
